AXE THROWING LEAGUES

Are you looking for something new & different to do in Erie? Gather your sharpest friends and join the Erie Axe Throwing League! 

Register a team of four by February 29 to join our inaugural league, which will throw on Tuesday Nights beginning on March 3! While you throw, enjoy 70 cent wing night at Quaker Steak & Lube and great drink specials served directly to your throwing lane!

SUBMITTING A ROSTER

  • Gather a team with at least four members. (​​Only four players may compete during a game, but those four players may change between games within the match.)

  • Players can only register to one team within the same league.

  • Rosters must be finalized and no changes are allowed after the second week of play.

  • All players must be listed on a team roster & sign a waiver before participating in a match.

  • Only players listed on a roster will be eligible for competition. 

PLAYERS

  • A team consists of four players, including a team captain. 

  • ​​Only four players may compete during a game, but those four players may change between games within the match.

  • All team members must be at least 14 years of age.

FORFEIT SITUATIONS

  • Teams must have three registered players present within ten minutes of the match start time to avoid a forfeit.

  • Teams who forfeit may choose to stay and practice, or organize a pickup game.

  • Teams who forfeit will receive a 0 - 3 loss to their opponent.

MATCH FORMAT

  • Each team will throw one match per night against one opposing team. 

  • Each match consists of three 10-throw games.

  • The team with the highest score at the end of 10 throws will win the game. In the case of a tie, the game will enter an 11th throw in sudden death.

  • The "home" team, as listed on the schedule, will throw first for the first and third games. The "away" team, as listed on the schedule, will throw first for the second game.
